He has H.S.P Web Page about HSP (https://www.clevelandclinic.org/arthritis/treat/facts/hsp.htm)

It has gotten worse and so when he went back to the Dr today she prescribed steroids and some anti histamine.

He is in a lot of pain and it looks awful! Even his scrotum has some blood showing and bruise like stuff...

Here are some pictures...

And he is a very skinny guy, you usually can see his bones and stuff...

I hope he has a fast recovery. The good thing is there are no long term problems. Will he have to back often to check his kiddney?

Yes he has been to the Dr now 4 times, I went to pick up the steroids and Walgreen's cannot find the script... So trying to figure out where his meds are lol

Yeah he is taking Motrin and Tylenol alternating.

Wishing your little one a speedy recovery! I am a nursing student and just saw a case of HSP during my pediatrics rotation, It did seem very painful. Most of the seasoned nurses had never even heard of it. The patient I cared for was suspected of having the "rare" occurance of intussusception also, which is where the bowel telescopes within itself which can cause blockage. Some of the signs of intussusception are currant jelly like stool and a sausage like mass in the abdomen (from the telescoped bowel). Don't want to make you worry more, just know being a mom myself that I like to know all the possiblities and what to watch for. He should be good as new in a few weeks though and hopefully it passes quick quick quick.

Thank all of you so much, I know that BBS and its prayers can move mountains! He is sleeping after his first does of meds and feeling better already...

Thank you for the info, I will keep it in mind!

It is a very rare thing, the Dr he is seeing says she sees maybe one a year...
