Hi And Welcome to the contest.

Let's do it again. :groupsmilie

Here are the rules.
Only one guess/attempt per user name. If you would like to let one of your kids take a shot at it that is fine, if you would like to talk it over with your whole family and come up with a great/wild idea with what to do with the prize that is fine also. But only one guess per user name.

The contest will run until Sat. Apr. 26th.
I will then pick the one suggestion that I feel is the most original, caring, wild, off the way, etc...
I reserve the right to ask my family and friends to help pick a winner if I can’t decide.
If you win the prize I would like (if possible) the winner to take a picture of what you did with the prize and either post it on the board or email it to me. If you have a video camera maybe post it on You Tube for all to see.
OK - enough with the rules on with the contest.

Here is what is up for grabs this time - 5 Comic Books.

So - Here is the question.
What Would You Do with 5 comic books.

Would you read them?
Would you let your dog eat them?
Would you use them to line your bird's cage?

Tell me What Would You Do?

Looks like fun...can I ask two questions?

1) How big (L x W) is a comic book page?

2) How many pages in a comic book?

That information will have some bearing on my proposed use...or maybe not...

:)

If they were Spider-Man or Venom I'd use them to decoupage my bedside table. I love Spider-Man, and I adore that nasty old Venom. Or, if it were Gambit and the Externals I'd keep it in my private porn stash, Gambit is HOT! Of course, any X-Men would also be made into something to honor, Rogue is my hero, but you can't have Rogue without the rest of them (don't ask me why its OK to have Gambit separate, its my fantasy world we're discussing and I don't have to rationalize it). Any other Marvel comics would find a place in my personal stash, any DC would be given to my boys to destroy, ummm I mean read and enjoy :D Now, any of the odder, not-as-well-known comics would have to be carefully considered upon receipt.

The pages are about 6" wide x 10" long.

The # of pages varies but I looked at one book and it has about 30 pages.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

If they were age appropriate, I would read them to my kiddo's...
We have reading every night, so that would be cool.... afterwards, if the kids don't mind to part with reading material, I would donate them to the school library.. (just being honest)

I guess it really depends on what kind of comic books they are. If its something no one in the family cares to read, I could always tear the pages out and wrap birthday gifts with them.

I would take them and stick them up in the little bathroom/changing area we have out by the pool. The building has this yucky orange paint in there now. I would just take pages and cover it up. That way, people would have something to read when they are in there.

What Would You Do with 5 comic books.

Depends on the comic book. I would either read them to my children or allow my daughter to read the comic books to her younger sister.

I would use them as wallpaper for my daughter's bathroom. She takes a book to the bathroom with her now. LOL She could just do her business and read the wall. LOL

I would love them and keep them and let others read them. (then make them give them back) I am a comic book lover. Casper, Archie and Superman were a big part of my life since I was an only child.

I would give them to my 7 yr old son for his birthday in July. He has never seen a comic book but is an avid reader and enjoys reading the sunday funnies.

Hope I am not too late! I would save them for when my son gets older, we have already started to collect him superman and batman comics (and a few others), so these would be great to add to his collection!

If I won, I would ask for you to mail them to a local hospital that has a pediatric unit in your area. :) Maybe the children's cancer unit, or Shriners hospital (sp?) :).

Or how about give them to heartlovers. She's a clown and does good things for kids I think she probably could make good use of them. :) So if I won, that's what I would want done with them, I would let you pick which one to send them too. :dancing:
