Update on my father-in-law

He has 5 blockages. They are gonna do open heart surgery. We will be going down there tomorrow. Surgery is scheduled for Monday but they said if they get him stable enough before then they will go ahead and take him in for it.

His main artery is 95% blocked. Also in his neck, right arm and two others.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I don't know if I'll be able to update anything here until I get home but will try my best.

We just went through this last month with hubsters Mom, she was considered very high risk, and did wonderful !

Hubster is a nurse on the heart surgery ward, and he has seen miracles, and, good things go bad fast, ya just never know what to expect.

my dad had open heart surgery (triple bypass) in 1985 back when it wasn't nearly as common and still did well. I know they are much better now days
