(BELLEVUE, OH) -- Police say a man in Bellevue, Ohio was caught on tape having sex with a picnic table.

Bellevue Police Captain Matt Johnson says Art Price, Jr., 40, was seen on four occasions between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and noon having sex with his picnic table. What makes this a felony, Johnson says, is that it took place in close proximity to a school, which made it likely that children could have seen Price.

The neighbor -- who wishes to remain anonymous -- saw Price walk out onto his deck, stand a round metal table on its side and use the hole in the umbrella to have sex.

The most recent instance took place March 14, we're told. A neighbor videotaped Price.

"The first video we had, he was completely nude. He would use the hole from the umbrella and have sex with the table," Johnson says.

Police say Price admitted to the crimes -- four charges of public indecency. Usually these sorts of things are misdemeanors, but in this case, they are felonies.

"What boosts it up to a felony is that the statute says if it's likely to be viewed by a minor," Johnson explains.

The Price family did not want to talk with us, but neighbors did. Some are not happy Price was released on his own recognizance.

"He shouldn't be allowed just for the fact that he could do that again -- and nude that close to a school. That should be zero tolerance," says Brice Jacobs, a neighbor.

Price is married with three school-aged children. Neighbors tell us they're now worried about the kids.

"Hopefully it stays between the adults and the kids don't get a lot of the information so they aren't so cruel to the little kids," says Emily Grote, a neighbor.

This case has police in this small town shaking their heads. "Once you think you've seen it all, something else comes around," Johnson says.

Why didn't they call the police. Police could of snuck in and caught him. Why did they have to video tape. Shouldn't that have been up to the police. I would of been dialing 911 the first time.

This is totally rediculous. I can't see it was any one's business but his own.
Why would anyone care except for the fact it is a little strange. I sure think it's wrong to prosecute him for this. Maybe his wife told him to do it!!!! You know like "Go **** the picnic table and leave me alone."

Unless you have a huge privacy fence, your backyard isn't private. That's the reason the charges were made felonies, because his action were "likely to be viewed by a minor". I know I wouldn't want my child (or myself) to walk by and see that.

That's just too funny !!! NO WAY should it be a felony, I mean, it's his table (LOL), and on his own deck...LMAO

I just told hubby about it... and all hubby said was "What a friggin' idiot"... LOL!

Making it a felony because a child "may have seen him" makes no more sense then a drunk driver being charged for a felony because he "could have" killed someone. You can't charge someone for what 'might' happen. At least that's what the police always say... "No mam, we can't pick him up for what he 'might do', he has to actually beat you up before we can do anything."

I bet the felony gets dropped.... as it should.

I can't see a (LMBO!!!!!!) 'table screwer' being locked up with killers...LOL!

Im just glad it wasnt a kid or an animal...
Thats an odd choice/object to get your kicks...but a felony? I understand because it was so close to a school but whoever videotaped them didnt care too much about kids seeing it or they would have called the police instead of continuing to videotape him. He has a wife and kids (3) and thats who I feel really bad for.

BELLEVUE, Ohio -- Police said an Ohio man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a picnic table.

Police arrested Arthur Price Jr. after an anonymous tipster dropped off three DVDs that reportedly showed Price in the act.

According to NBC Toledo, Ohio, affiliate WNWO-TV, the videos show Price tilting the metal round picnic table on its side and then laying up against it to have sexual intercourse with the table. Afterward, he can then be seen cleaning the table and the deck.

During questioning, he reportedly admitted to having sex with the table. Police said he also admitted to bringing the table inside his home for sex.

Price faces four counts of public indecency. He was freed after posting $20,000 bond, authorities said.

Well I guess I'd give him a "10" for originality but that is just downright sick! I don't think I could think of something like that even if I sat around all day trying too. He obviously is into the thought of someone seeing him, otherwise he would have took his "date" to a private area. I feel sorry for his kids as I'm sure they will endure teasing and his poor wife must be embarrassed beyond belief.

I guess I am the only one that doesn't have a big problem with this. Crazy yes and it public so near the school makes it even crazier but as far as doing it with the hole in the picnic table, I don't have a problem with. He should have kept it private and maybe it is true that part of the excitement was from being public. But as far as doing it with a table I have heard of other things like this. I had a patient once who told me he would have sex with a hole in a cardboard box. This is much better than going after someone who doesn't want him and certainly better than hurting a child or animal. I mean I think it's crazy but people do much stranger things than that. There was a show on tv about fetishes Friday and there was a man who gets off by having women stand on his face, body parts , even including his groin. Yes he should be charged with indecent exposure but that is about as far as it gets. I'm surprised, with our crazy laws today, he isn't being charged with rape of a picnic table.

Oh and as for that sick neighbor, why did it take 3 DVDs worth of the stuff before he/she took it to the police station? Seems like one would have been enough.

People say you can find anything for sale on Ebay, I wonder if a person could find copies of the DVDs on that site?
