Okay, so I feel like a dummy! I am taking a class right now, and I have a teacher that wants everything specific. I have had to write a few essays before, but now my new teacher for my new class is wanting me to have a cover sheet. LOL! I must be dumb, cause I have never done one before, can someone enlighten me on what one is supposed to look like? He said we needed our Last name, First name, Course Title/Section number, Learning analysis chapter and unit. If anyone could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated! I have to have the essay turned in no later than Midnight tonight!

For a cover sheet, just put the info he wants in the order he asked for it. I usually center each line, one line for each thing, like your name is one line, course title/section number one line, etc. It should look like a title page of a book.

Thats what I was thinking, but I wanted to make sure there was no certain margins or anything I should do before I did it! Thank you so much!

LOL... it does sound a bit too much, but, hubster had to do cover sheets for his weekly medical studies in nursing school.

It's kind of like...hmmm, I helped him do them... but, how to explain it...

Say your report is about the rising cost of groceries... due to several reasons, including the much higher cost for gas, wages, insurance etc...

The cover page might be titled "The Rising Cost of Goods", then, a short paragraph of what to expect in the report, and, a list of your resources (where you got the information).

Usually college instructors don't want that much on a cover page. The way VW listed it was what mine always wanted. It is really old fashioned way of doing reports. You would list all of your resources at the end using the foot notes to indicate where the info was obtained.
