Back from my trip

I drove up to my son and daughter in laws for the first time. It was a 5 hour drive to ft. drum, ny for me. But had a wonderful time, had a late dinner with him. Then got to his house and watched a couple movies. I'm going to have to go back up when I can stay longer, so he can take me around the army base and show me around. But my main reason for going was just to see him, he leaves for Iraq in November, and I'm stealing every chance I get with him.

glad you can spend time with him i know where ft drum is I have family all over ny state especially rome and utica and a few other places. my grandpa was from the watertown area.my mom and dad are from rome

Thanks everyone, Ripley is a very small town, right on the ny/pa line next to lake erie. I grew up in Westfield tho, its the next town over, and the home of MAD DOG 20/20 :drunk
