..for my VACATION!

Heading to FLORIDA early Wedn. morning. I'll be in Tampa/St.Pete, chillin', drinkin' & shoppin' with all my old friends. I've planned for all my old high school friends to meet up Thurs. nite, so it'll be like a 17 yr High School reunion. I haven't seen most of them since graduation 1991.

Then I'm definately gonna hit the new IKEA in Orlando & pull some muscle at my MotherInLaws in Lake Wales. She bought a "flip" house & her contracter who is living in the "flip" house is a total chump & is taking too long, so I'm gonna help her as much as I can. I think she just wants me to come & crack the whip & be a total b*tch, so this chump gets done. Or I'll just kick his ass out & finish it myself.

So YEA!! I'm so stoked! I haven't been "home" since my dad died 2 1/2 yrs ago, and trust me.. that was no vacation!

My daughter is heading to tampa around that same time and then heading down to Ft. Lauderdale for a couple of days. She found her ticket for $159 roundtrip for Nashville/Tampa. You are both going to be escaping Nasvegas at the same time!!

Well pack a sweater - there is a cold front heading in tomorrow and it is suppose to be quite cool on Wednesday. But should be warming up on Thursday. Of course I am sitting here wearing shorts & the A/C is running so I would welcome some cooler weather right now.

I saw the high is gonna be around 60. LMAO! Thats shorts weather to me! :) Its supposed to be in the upper 20s with snow flurries when I leave Wedn. am. I planned this vacation, knowing that the end of Feb. / beginning of March is the coldest month here!

At least it'll be warm enough to go swimming over the weekend!

Its been so long since I've been to O-town. THinking about checking out The Bealls Outlet Malls, and possibly downtown Disney.

So much to do, so little TIME!!!!

Hi Guys! I can't believe how cold it is in FL, it was so damn windy last night. , But when I left Nashville, it was snowing, so I can't complain about it being 42 degrees here.

Have fun. If you go to the outlet mall's you will be shocked at how many are here now. They have taken over part of I-Drive. And I told you it would be cold. LOL

Ahhh... Back home!

Had a great trip, didn't get to do everything I had planned, but between traffic (and it was Bike Week) and too many friends wanting to gab all day, there wasn't enough time in the world.

I did get some shopping in! Couldn't pass up the FL sales tax vs. the TN sales RAPE tax.
Couldn't believe how over-populated the 2 counties had become, it was bad when I left 8 yrs ago, but DAMN how many people can they cram on a peninsula vefore it either sinks or breaks off! LOL! :rolling

....but like the old saying goes " YOU CAN NEVER GO HOME AGAIN "!
