Heartbroken

I just found out that a friend of mine was killed in a head-on collision last night. I haven't really seen her much in the past few years, but I'm just in shock. I can't believe it. She was my age (28) and had an adorable 5 year old daughter. I am absolutley heart-broken for her daughter. Knowing she won't see her Mom again. I can't help but hugging my little guy extra tight.

I guess the point of my post is to remind everyone to not put off until tomorrow what can be done today. Call someone you haven't seen in a while and tell them how much they mean to you, or just that you were thinking of them. Make use of every second of the day, and don't say I love you just because. There are so many things I took for granted....and that I won't anymore. Life is way too short, and no. Bad things don't only happen to other people. Think about that, and tell someone you love how much you love them.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I will say a prayer for her and her family. What was her name? And thank you for the reminder to never put off until tomorrow what you can do today. I try not to ever take my loved ones for granted.

Her name was Jacinthe, and she was such a great person, and a wonderful mother. I'm still in shock. Gives me a jolt everytime I open MSN and see her boyfriend's name with a rose next to it saying I will love and miss you forever. I just still can't believe it happened to her.
