Some of my snow pics

Well they said we were going to get some snow. And we did. However, they didnt call off the public schools today, but the school 3 minutes from my kids is closed. So I kept my kids home today. I was going to go to work today, but I was listening to travel times and just to get there was over 2 hours. I think not. So I am home as well. We just had hot chocolate! After getting warmed up I snapped a few pics of the snow.
Anyone else have any to share?

Oh man I do NOT miss any of that. We moved from upstate NY to Alabama 1 1/2 years ago. That is the one thing I do not miss at all is snow. No thanks lol

I sooo do not miss Michigan. If I want snow we can drive about 90 minutes and hit the slopes in Flagstaff. If I don't want snow I sit right here. :)

We are gettting snow now but the ice storm from last night is all gone since it rained here all day.... i knew i should have hobbled my ass outside this am to take pics

I'm in central Illinois and we got 11 1/2" of snow last night. DH drove us to work, or I'd have stayed home.

thanx for sharing the pics we didnt get any snow at all this year so it is nice for me to look at but I know hard on everyone that has had such a long hard winter

I spoke to soon.... I thought the snow was done here, at least for a little bit. Well I just got back from picking my Dd up. Normally it takes me about 25 minutes round trip.. Well this time it took me an hour and 15 minutes. Snow is comming down fast, and those nice big flakes. That look awesome when you are at home, but nasty while driving in it.

So did I. After talking to my dad and then my cousin about thier snow and it was thundering and had lightening We went out and yep the same as them.

We got 5 1/4" here south of STL.
I've got some snow sitting in my freezer to make snow ice cream later :)
