It was 42* in Minneapolis..YESTERDAY..now it is -6* and -35* in wind chill..WTF..?
-45* in wind chill in the AM and about -7* for real degrees, we lost 45 degrees in 24 hours..UGH.
So when you are all in bed at 4:30 AM, I am starting my SUV, and hoping it warms up in 20 minutes, or I will wait...OUCH!
I hate Minneapolis right now. :( !

60-80 mph wind gusts....rotation spotted (mainly south of me around Indy). We were just down in the basement. Terrible lightning! Was 50 at 6pm tonite...will get down to 10 below with wind chill and 1-2 inches of sleet and snow.

Yesterday & today we were sitting at 45* it was so nice, then around 3pm the cold front blew in we are now at 14* & dropping. We are going down to 10 degrees below zero tonight, with a windchill of -34. A long with the cold we are to get 2 to 4 inchs of snow that will be blowing around with these nice 45 mph winds that came with the storm. And with the rain we had all day and the temps falling fast i bet our streets will be ice rinks soon if they are not that yet. We have over 191 place's that are closing for tonight. When will spring be here???

It's about 50 degrees right now. However, tomorrow is only going to be 20.

Today was 44 at about 11:00 AM, it's in the 40's still right now at 8:00 PM. Perjected starting at 9:00 PM T-storms until midnight then it drops to single digit and snow. So ,cold enough to freeze the rain,then snow on top and it get's better the winds start tomorrow morning 30-55 mile an hour.

Sunday it was almost 50 here, Monday it was in the 40s. Today its disgusting, freezing cold, blowing snow. Brrrrr!

You guys are getting the storm that left here a day or so ago it seems. The mountains ringing the valley (I am still at 3000ft) I am in are full of several feet of snow pack over what they had already gotten.

High today got to 50 with sunshine and moderate wind. However, there is a weather alert for high winds 40+mph with gust 55-75 mph possible through tommorrow afternoon. It currently is partly cloudy, 43 degrees with slight windchill, and supposed to drop to 27 during the night.

it was 45 today with a little wind... however, our "high" for tomorrow will arrive at 3 am... 36 degrees and it's all down hill from there.

The west side of Michigan is under a Winter Warning ... we will get that crap tomorrow.

Guess it's good that I have to work. :(

I think the high today was around 60. Low will probably be about 40. Our rain and high winds are over for the time being. We've had lots of rain so far this year... way ahead of last year's totals. It's good though because we needed it.

It is 54 right now and very windy .. we just got pumeled by rain. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 20 (hi) and 12 (lo), with 25-30 MPH winds.

we were in the 40s today 1/29/08 was supposed to be in the mid 50s but it never got there was light rain. we were suppose to get downpours,20-30(was 40-50) mph winds and a big drop in temp from 50 down to 20s well its 53 degrees here and still raining as of 12:47 am and its starting to get windy and its suppose to be in the 30s by 7 am am then down to the mid to high 20s by noon this weather sucks..

Well yesterday we had 45 degree temps with rain and today it's 2 degrees with a wind chill of -22 and blizzard like conditions. All area schools and some buisnesses are closed. I'm so dreading stepping outside to shovel in this crap.

Nasty. Mid forties yesteday, low teens today. The wind is screeching and now is blowing. Luckily we seemed to have missed the sleet/freezing rain. Hubby has o drive SD 2 1/2 hours (in good weather, that is) to Buffalo to catch a plane in a few hours. Glad it's not me making that drive.

Our power went off soon after I got out of the shower. I just bagged up everything (including my iron) and snuck into work earl to dress and have breakfast. Great start to my day.

Sounds like you live next door to me LOL. My back door is frozen shut also. Last night it was 48 and raining, and today its -8 with the wind chill, and up to 50mph winds.

Yesterday was 64 and sunny. Today is 42 and the wind is pretty much stuck 24 mph. Bridget and I froze on our morning cruise. Glad she was on a leash or she'd have gotten blown away with the leaves. I had my scarf wrapped around my face to breathe warm air.

On Monday, we had a nice day with a high of 40.
Later in the day, it started raining and cooling off.
needless to say, the rain froze.
Went outside about 6:30 to smoke and put the dogs out to go potty.
I stepped off the stairs and immediately slipped, falling on my ankle twisting it, and landing flat on my back in tear jerking pain.

By the time hubby was able to help me up the stairs and into the house, I couldn't walk on the ankle. my ankle had swelled to the size of a large grapefruit.
Hubby wrapped it and put ice on it. he was so sweet!
It is still swollen and the whole ankle and about half my foot is black, blue and purple.

back to the weather....
late monday, it ended up being below zero (after being 40 above earlier in the day).
with the ice and cold, there was no school. It continued to be below zero all day with wind chill around -25.
By 10 last night, it was -20 with wind chill of -42
NO SCHOOL again today!
This morning it was -22 and wind chill was -46

But hey....I like it here and wouldn't want to move.
