When I was younger and worked at the skating rink we used this stuff that would freeze it ... maybe you could look for that, or I know peanut butter gets it out of hair, but not sure how that would clean up in a dryer... I am not much help LOL
I sure hate that, hope you can get it all cleaned easily!

I would suggest Goo Gone or Nail polish remover.

WD 40 is good for lots of things, like crayons that go through the dryer. We almost had a whole load of clothes ruined, but thanks to WD 40, some dish soap, and some scrubbing, everything came out okay.
For gum, I would say either ice or goo gone. Good luck!

yep, I was thinking that goo gone would get rid of it. its just a solvent, peanut butter would probably have done the same job, although your clothes might have smelled like peanuts afterwards, lol.

goo gone extreme (I gotta be different guys! lol)
the others I didn't see listed are: hydrogen peroxide
rubbing alcohol
and I've had some luck with other cleaners "like" goo gone such as goof off!

yeah, thats right, rubbing alcohol works on anything. As a nurse, did you know that you can put rubbing alcohol on a fresh ink stain on your clothes & it will just dissolve? That is the main ingrediant in all those things like Texize spray n wash.

The guys at work use Goof Off and it nearly killed us all in the office one day. That stuff has a horrible odor and it lingers. BUT it will remove just about anything you can think of.
kmtsn - I think gum in your dryer would be a great excuse to get a new one. JK....
