Yes, Kelsey1224, it is very unusual. Those of us who are native do not do well in the snow at all and if it starts icing we are beside ourselves. It makes residents who have lived elsewhere very upset with us.

It sure is snowing. I wouldn't call it a blizzard lol Im south of ATL and I can't believe it. Im from buffalo and I have only seen it snow here once or twice.Im sure if it keeps snowing everything will be in lockdown mode soon lol My 6 yr old is already asking me if he has to go to school tomorrow.

We have at least 2 or 3 inches. It is beautiful. The kids have been outside. It was dark here when it got started. I'm gonna take some pictures tomorrow. We will probably be in lockdown by morning if it keeps snowing like it is right now.

Yep snow here. My kids are loving it, pretty sure they will cancel school tomorrow. They cancel here when it is just flurries...lol. Its real nice having snow again. They are not equipped to handle lots of snow or ice, no salt trucks or snow plows. I went to the grocery store tonight to get diapers and milk and the place was packed. Unreal but I understand it.

Here in Phoenix, the water from the sprinklers on the sidewalk was FROZEN in places this morning. My DD said that is the 1st time she has seen, "ice outside, all by itself", lol! It was 32* at 8 am.

We have a few inches here in Kansas, and its 6 degrees right now... Says more snow Friday! Yay! I happen to love the show, but the cold is killing our gas bill... it is $198 this month... crazy!

here in maine we drive by the seat of our pants in the snow..just like the race car drivers i guess lol you get use to it...when i first got my license way back when, i went right into a snow bank on my way to work some guy and his son dug me out..lol now its no problem just go slow thats the biggest thing.

It's snowing here in PA. I think we are to get 1-3 inches.
I'm from the south originally. I lived in Phenix City, Alabama and later on in Columbus GA. But I can remember the first time it snowed in AL that I saw it, I got a pan out of the kitchen put snow in it and put it in the freezer. I must have been around 8 years old. Nope people in the south don't do well in snow. Never really got it to get used to it or to learn to drive in it. Also, the states don't have the snow removal equipment to clean the roads. I can paralyze the south where it may be getting snow. But the good thing is it usually melts off pretty fast.
I hate driving in snow and I won't unless I have to.
