my dad had surgery this past tuesday and everytime i go into his room i smell bruton snuff which reminds me of my grandmother, his mother (she passed away in 1978) well i'm telling my sister about this and she says "i haven't smelled that but i've smelled moms cologne" (mom passed in 1983) then tonite we're talking about it more, she wasn't told any of this til today, she says ''tuesday night after pops surgery i couldn't sleep for chit but i heard grandma singing her lullaby song'', i need a drink :rolling

Thats sweet its like they're there to make sure he's ok . I hope your dads doing ok after his surgery.

he started fighting the morphine and the nurses and the respiratory therapists about 4:30-5 am today he yanked the O2 and iv's out and the dr came in and told my brother and nephew "to clear the room, he's going into ICU" they took him down and sedated him he's finally resting so maybe his body can start healing. he had a "dual" sugery they finished removing the remainder of a melanoma they left from a Out patient surgery then did a colonectomy? removed a small section and reattached the ends.
