I was watching Paula Deen on Food Network and she made up her cookie dough and rolled it into a log like and then rolled it into parchment paper then put into a freezer bag...I am doing that this Sat. and then at Christmas I can just cut and bake and that way I can enjoy Christmas eve when my kids come over..And not be real tired we are having cookies on Christmas Eve and will let kids open presents because on Christmas Day we are going to Mom & Dads ....THEN when my son gets home from Iraq and he and his wife and son come here we are having Christmas again..:dancing: :idea: :dancing: :dancing:

I try to keep some cookie dough in the freezer so I can have some for when people pop in.

This year I am just too lazy and too broke to do much baking though.

It will be the end of his second tour..Him and his family will come here to Fla and spend some time with us..then go back to Texas.

That sounds great! I love do-ahead stuff to make things easier. Are you just going to do it with like sugar cookie dough? or a couple different kinds? Thanks for sharing, Army-Mom:)
