I made some homemade chicken noodle soup yesterday......since it's only going to be 30 degrees out today, I'm feeling like leftovers is the way to go.

Army-Mom I would love to know how to make CB with Cabbage. Honestly I am clueless as to how you find cornbeef, is it a cut of beef or what? LOL that probably sounds so lame but I truly have no idea, maybe you can give me some insight. I've only had it a couple of times at a small town diner and really loved it. Also I tried just boiling some cabbage once and I guess I did it for too long because it didn't even resemble cabbage once I was done with it. I've seen some online recipes but most don't tell you how to find the cornbeef LOL

I like to put olive oil in a skillet and cut cabbage up and cook it down and then I buy the canned corn beef and add that...now you can buy the fresh cornbeef at walmart..but it is easier for me just to buy the canned..good luck with it...forgot to add once the cabbage is cooked down I add some water to it..and let it cook more with the cornbeef in it..yummy..

Well dh wants to wait to order pizza until this weekend so we can finally watch 1408. Tonight will be Chef Boyardee for the kids and burrito's for us. This cold is still kicking my butt so I don't want to cook.
