Yuck! It's cold here, but at least we have sunny skies. Can I borrow the hat?

Sorry to hear that, you guys! It must be awful! Just thought you should know that my 5th grader had a beach trip (with swimming, and no goosebumps!) with his school last Friday! :aetsch:

OH NO--not "blue butt" weather. I was just thinking, it has been way to nice here in Illinois for this time of the year. Guess all of us Northeners know what is coming. AND, I do not mean Thanksgiving or Christmas...I did get my turkey today and my ham for Christmas.

It's been miserable here too. Wind advisory, rain, sleet, snow.... I'm so not ready for this crap yet!

So sorry to hear that, you guys! I live in Southern California, and the Red Cross sets up emergency sun tan booths on the corners when it gets below 60 degrees! They hand out Chapstik and Vitamin C too!
It was 71 degrees here today, and I'll probably spend some time out by the pool tomorrow, with my sun glasses and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice (with an umbrella in it!) and a good book to read. I can watch the humming birds and smell the orange blossoms out there!
