I just came across this when I was doing a search for the red wall kitchens.

I thought this would be cool thing to do if you have several little ones about. :)

My son has a wall like that. It's a lot of fun until you have to clean up chalk dust everywhere.

What a neat idea. I'll gladly clean up chalk dust if I could write on the wall in huge letters so DH is sure to see my notes!

I love this, when we finally buy a house I want to do a little in the kids rooms. I love the idea of having it on the fridge or wall in kitchen, would come in handy for a lot of little things. Thanks for sharing

I have seen the use of chalk board paint on a door in the kitchen or a cabinet/pantry also on the front of kids dressers so you can write what is in them.
Such a fun idea.

I have a friend who is very crafty and made big chalboards for her 2 grandkids. Was with her in Home Depot when she bought the paint, it was in spray cans. she just sprayed it on, then when it dried she painted their names at the top to personalize them and stenciled a few cute little things around the edges and framed them. They were adorable and extra special homemade gifts:)

I'm getting ready to paint our downstairs where I keep all the toys and the kids' tv and plan on doing that. My daughter is 3 and will love it!

A friend of mine homeschools her boys and she painted their armoire with that paint. They use it for their memory verses.

Yup! My 3 year old (and the 9 year old big girls too) love it! I like it but hate the dust. Since Daddy put it up, Daddy cleans up the dust! lol

I'd be afraid that the kids would then think that they could write on any walls that they wanted. Even the ones that know better.
