View Full Version : I start my new job at the school cafeteria tomorrow-I'm nervous!

I know it will be ok & I will be working with 8 other women. It should be fun I hope.

I had to go buy black jeans to wear & they will give me 3 t-shirts & a baseball hat next week.


I feel good about this job & I think I will really like it.

You will do fine. It is not like your doing something you have never done before (cooking), it is just that your doing it for alot more people. I am sure the ladies you will be working with will help you. You will be in the swing of it in no time..Glad you got the job.

I am working in a school cafeteria, I am in a high school. I have been there almost a year and I love it. Before I got hired on full time there I worked when needed at some of the other schools, elementary schools and they were nice to.

I know you will enjoy it, I love my job. I get up every morning looking forward to another work day.

I have an aunt who worked in school cafetieres for a long time. She only recently quit due to back problems. Her and her husband recently build a house but bought the land years ago. He use to build houses along time ago and him and his old House building buddies which he kept in contact with all got together and build the house. That was always the plan they helped each other build their homes.
If it had not been for that she wouldn't of been able to leave her job.
