Oh, I thought it was to make the kitties sound like a small child. They do talk cute. Society tries to keep pets in the infantile stage and not grow up by neutering them. Makes them cute but not sure how the pets feel about it. I guess as long as they have a good home with a warm bed and food they are ok.

I could have swore I replies to this yesterday. To post a pic...right click on the image u want to post and go to 'copy image location'. Come bake here to the quick reply box and click on the little photo icon. In the box that pops up, right click in the box that pops up and paste. (the should put the image location link you just copied.) then hit ok and it should post.

I spay/neuter my pets bcuz I am a responsible pet owner and know that I don't need 2 add anymore 2 the already overwhelming number of pets who have 2 die bcuz they dont have a home.


I spay and neuter my pets for the same reason. I have had several - all strays that were dropped on my property because I live in a semi rural area and people just "assume" that we will take in an endless stream of animals that they no longer want. I have one now - sweet orange tabby that desperately wants to be inside - that I am trying to find a home for. I can not tell you the number of people who have called or emailed me to "blast" me for saying she will have to go to the pound ... because the Pound will most likely have to put her down. She wasn't my responsibilty ... someone who loved this cat just dropped her off because she didn't fit into their life anymore... but I have to deal with their problem. It isn't the Pound's "fault" they have to put down so many animals... it is irresponsible pet owners who choose not to spay and neuter their animals.

I do the same thing but some will let their cat have one litter first. Nice if they can find homes for all of them, not smart if they can't. My SIL waits until she has the money for the neutering but she won't keep her cats in the house. I got my last cat from the litter her cat had. Makes me mad but can't do anything about it.

Dang, I'd hate to be loved like that!! If they had actually loved their kitty they would have done what I had to do to make my house dander-free. I put an ad in the paper for my three kitties and interviewed folks and then gave my kitties away. Hopefully they actually went to good homes. I mean, you don't have to dump them! (I know it's not necessarily that easy, but in most cases it could be.)
