I love Oliver. It's a traditional but not overly used name. I think it's also smart and distinguished. I think children 'grow' into their name and Oliver sounds like a very successful name.

I don't care for any of the names really....but that's your choice. I have a cousin who's 2 years younger than I am. Anyway, at the time of her birth Wendy was a very popular name for girls...that's what her parents chose to name her. Only after starting school did they realize what they'd done....her name is Wendy Rainey. She came home from school daily in tears.

We're now adults and she doesn't go by Wendy anymore.....goes by her middle name. Her parents have apologized over and over thru the years for giving that name to her.

We lived in another state while growing up so I wasn't around her much growing up. However my other cousins saw her regularly and teased her to no end.

As others have stated think very long and hard before you give a child a name. Something they will use/carry for the rest of their life.

My brother was given a very Christmas like name...he was forever being teased until he went with his middle name.

I voted for Silas, really like that name since hearing it on the show Weeds. I would have to say though Sawyer would be a close 2nd. Good Luck with picking a name, took me forever with my boys.
