conagra is recalling all Banquet chicken and turkey pot pies..........it looks like they dont have a lot code or manufactured on date figured out yet
they are saying possible salmonella

LOL yea we're finishing off a big family box from the other night and I didnt get sick then but I will keep an eye out for the lot codes for the other box we have.

Also, I thought salmonella was killed when the food is cooked thouroughly?

Hubby had one for dinner last night. I think they said it is killed by proper cooking but that some people are nuking them and not getting them done enough.

Yup thats true. I always bake them in the oven so I wouldnt have to worry. I dont think the chicken is part of the recall either.

the thing to look for is p9 is what they where saing ontvand if you you have the pot pies with this code return them for a refund.i had just ate a chicken pot pie 2 days ago luckly npthing happened to me.
