can't your son get on the internet and research these or read his workbook, that way he would learn from his homework.

I was going to say...doesn't he a book to look up all these ....maybe he just not bringing it home....but I would have him look the things up on the computer then that we he will keep it in his mind better then just writing them down....sorry no help...I need to look up this stuff too..lol..been out of school to long
dont be sorry....just help him all you can with out really giving him the answers at first..we all help our children when they need the help.....just maybe let him try first.....and maybe letting him look them up on the computer will help him learn it faster...makes it fun for them because they get to use moms computer...lol...good luck with school this yr.

He's not going to learn anything if BBS'ers do his homework. But if you have no problem doing your son's homework for him, use Google. Does his teacher know you do this?

My grandson is in the fifth grade and if he can't figure it out he will try and find some help on the computer. His Mom is a teacher and she does know he does this:) Todays homework is so much harder then it was when I was in school. But that was a long time ago:itsme:

I would invest in an Atlas. I bought one for my kids and we have used it so much through the years. I also agree he could look them up online. It is ok for you to help him just not to do the work for him. I have my son do his own homework then look it over once he is done.

Oh I am so glad my children are grown when it comes to homework. My kids made great grades and I didn't have to help them. I would have been in trouble. My son needed a little help but his older sisters loved playing "school" so they helped him. Yes what the kids are given to do for homework now is totally unbelieveable. I think it is wrong, myself, especially the younger ones.

You didn't really bother anyone. We are all just thinking of what would be in your sons best interest. Just giving him the answers is not helping him learn how to find them on his own which he will have to do eventually in life. I know it is much more hassle for you to encourage and assist hiim in finding his own answers, but in the long run you will be helping him more by doing this. It seems like these days the kids are studying things at a much younger age. It is scary!!!!!

you want us to give you the answers to your son's homework instead of you getting together with your son and showing him how to find the answers, that way he will actually be at least learning all he can instead of just having his homework done by someone else.your not helping your son by getting the answers from us. And please at least give google a try, I think you will find most of the answers on there. Everyone here is just trying to help you out, nobody thinks your bothering them.

I agree, no one is trying to be rude. But all these answers are in his books and if he reads his assignments then he will be able to find the answers. Even if he is just skimming over the pages to find the answers, he will be picking up more information than not reading.
It is a great thing now, the internet. I wish when I was having to help my kids with homework it had been available back then. But, by having son do his own research it will help him a lot more than you giving him his answers. And him learning to search the internet for education will help him learn to become more internet savvy.
