The only place I play any card games is at Yahoo... play for hours and hours there...lol, free and all in real time. I have played spades, hearts, and poker, but, my favorite of all is Canasta... LOVE it, and, I'm very high rated. :D

I would like to learn to play texas hold-em.

my family played spades the whole time I was growing up and I was always my dad's partner because we could beat the pants of any team....lol. but it brings back a lot of great memories and I still love to play..just isnt the same without my partner though. :(

Ahhh, that's so bittersweet... I have some memories of my own Dad, we played in Scrabble tournaments, and we were good... playing anyone else is like playing a third grader... it'll never be the same with any other player. I miss my Dad... he passed away in 1996.

Oh I love to play spades! I try to get my DH to play with me, in person lol, but he doesn't really like it so I play online from time to time. Its been a while though. I was playing on yahoo and pogo. I'll have to check out Hardwoodspades though. :)

O yeah I love to play spades I don't play at pogo I play it only at yahoo myself.

I learned to play this game as a teen when I was dating this guy and his mom and sisters played the game all the time. Needless to say I play alot better then I did then, but they knew I was just learning the game and the put up with my stupid mistakes. lol

I heard he got married and had a boy and is now divorced I also heard he went downhill big time to bad that guy was a hottie big time back in the day. I guess he got into drinking to much. He lives out of state this was while I was in school years ago.

Tonka I will keep an eye out for you, I am novablue. I normally just play in singles. I love mirrors and can play a dozen or so games in a row. I have played at yahoo but not rated yet.. even after all these years, just will go there when hardwood is acting up. I've been at hardwood 6 yrs. before that was MPlayer til game spy bought them out. So between mplayer and hardwood i'm still not rated at yahoo and at yahoo I find that people just leave the game, someone else comes in, they leave, someone else comes in they leave. 4 people started the game, but 9 people have played in it. Weird.

Back in the 70's my sister got a DUI and had to spend time in jail and when she got out, she showed us this cool new card game she learned in there and after that, that would be alll we played. I was just a teenager then and have loved that game all these years. And love it that it can be played online since i have no one in person that can play it. Tho by the time my kids were 8 they could play it. But now you get them and theyre gf's in a game the b**thin starts. Takes fun out of it... So I prefer online play with an ignore button lol.
