We are so excited! This morning, I booked us for two nights at The Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, Va. We originally wanted to take our son to Water Country USA before he started back to school, but I just happened to find this place instead and I am so glad that I did!

Their website says: The site features a 67,000 square-foot indoor waterpark. Bear Track Landing puts the emphasis on fun with eight waterslides, six pools and a four-story treehouse waterfort. The state-of-the-art facility utilizes nearly 300,000 gallons of water that is splashed, sprayed, waved and played in by both kids and parents alike.

Check out the video of the Howlin' Tornado Ride here:

Here are some pics I found online from the Williamsburg location we are staying at:

They have tons of activities for kids that my son is going to love, including the on site indoor waterpark, arcade and free outdoor concerts every night.

They also have what they call The Great Wolf Lodge Scavenger Hunt where you roam around the hotel and try to answer all the questions you are given. Once you are done, you turn it in to the Front Desk to receive prizes.

Every night, they have story time where the Great Wolf character comes out and reads to the children.

I don't think it gets much better than this for kids...and I am a little giddy about it myself!

I was there about 2 years ago. Very nice, the kids had a ball. Their pool is indoor/and outdoor. They have a wave pool. In the 4th pic the tubes, you can go in them in innertubes also. Really fun place, they have a kiddie pool as well with a small slide and things to do inside it. I even climbed the rock wall there! :lol *no extra charge for that! ;)

You'll have a great time. They also have a restaurant on site, food is pretty decent. We had gotten the food plan with ours and it was well worth it. You never have to leave the site.;) *You won't want to neither.

And of course they have an outside bar for the adults while the kiddies play inside.;)

Don't worry about bad weather neither, there's plenty to do inside, you won't miss anything. Have fun.....we expect a full report.
