Hello my Daughter has Winantivirus pro 2007, STOP acceration software station on her computer I think it is not good because EVERYDAY she has viruses and they are quarantined she does not download bad stuff from those she does not know I have norton and it is GREAT I am thinking I need to take her computer to comp usa or best buy to have all this taken off then buying norton for her what does everybody think? I am conmfused

Winantivirus is malware, winantivirus.com is listed as a known source for almost 200 viruses at symantec

She needs either mcafee or norton, I prefer Norton, only because it's more user friendly

I have a question. I saw in another thread where people were recommending Avira (supposedly even better than AVG). I downloaded it on hubbys computer because it started acting funny and he did not have any virus protection. It has found a lot! Trojan horses even! :eek: It is putting them in quarantine but not getting rid of them. Is that enough?

I agree I don't know if it is enough for them to be quarantined? And also do you guy's know of any free ones that are good to download? or would you just buy Norton?

i've been using avg for years and never had a problem with it and it's free with free updates
