What is the "sticky" mean? Like the Walmart sticky on the freebies. Also, what is a thread?

A "sticky" is at the top of the page. It's usually a thread everyone asks about or goes to often or a notice of interest to everyone. It stays there, doesn't move. A "thread" is a post topic. You just did a "thread" posting the questions. Folks will reply to your "thread".
