Tax free weekend coming...............

Just saw on the news that next weekend Aug, 3, 4 & 5 are tax free for anything school related. Y'all know the drill. That's next Fri. Sat. & Sun.

Oklahoma's is next weekend too. Here it covers all stores, but only certain items (clothes & shoes etc) and has a $100 limit.

It's here in VA too
$20 or less for each item for school supplies and $100 or less for clothing.

In NC I think it's many stores. It includes clothes, school supplies, computers, anything associated with learning in schools or colleges.

We don't have to pay taxes on clothing in Massachusetts so if we had a tax free weekend it wouldn't do us much good because the only school supplies my son needs is a backpack. His school doesn't have a supply list.

I think I saw a list on Walmart.com under their back to school stuff....I'll head over there and see if I can find it. I know Michigan does NOT do this.

Florida had a couple of weeks in July, for hurricane related stuff, then we get the school one too

Texas has one, but school supplies are not included: clothing only.
And, only certain clothing, or shoes: not everything:

But since my children have already startd school: it does nothing for me.
