Anyone else on Freecycle.org

Just curious if anyone else is a member of freecycle.org?

I have been a member for about a year now and WOW I have really got some neat stuff. I just picked up a cement outdoor table with 3 benches, free just had to go pick it up which was much harder than I thought it would be...those are SO heavy!!!

If your not familar with it, its a fun community where people try to recycle their products they don't want anymore rather than having to pay to haul them off. There usually is a chapter in every city or a city close by. Going to get a 37" TV tomorrow!!! WOOOHHOOOO!!!

I'm a member as well.. have been for like 3 years. There is always a lot going on on ours, which is great. I think there are like 1000 to 2000 members, I cannot remember. We also have like 2-3 other freecylce type groups and then a few groups for selling and chit chat. It's really neat if you have a question about something in the valley you can ask locals and get real answers. :)

i used to be but got so much junk mail (even though I had a specific folder for them) I dropped out. maybe I should check it out again.

I've been a member for a just a few months now and I love it! I was able to get a few great items as well as find a nice home for a playhouse I had.I have a few different groups in my area so its great.I'm sorry some of you arent making out as well~its really cool if you have active groups in your area.Its a great give and take idea.Good luck to those already in it as well as those who may sign up.

Love freecycle....I have gotten a nice set of womens golf clubs. I am usually to late for others that I want or need. I have gave a lot in return as well. Giving all my yard sale leftovers away on freecycle this weekend in fact.

You can sign up to not get any mail, just check the box that says you will read the postings on the site.

I really like to free cycle and sometimes I even get lucky enough to get the items that are posted! LOL!
