pico is used a lot in mexican cooking, like if you have fajitas, generally it comes w/ a side of pico de gallo. basically what it is, is: tomatoes, jalapeno, onion and cilantro chopped up. here is a recipe from all recipes, unsure what recipe dback uses :) http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pico-De-Gallo/Detail.aspx and it is good :D also.. if your are lazy, you can generally find it all chopped up and ready in the grocery store near the salad refrigerated stuff.

Yup Shann is right. I make my own because it can be hard to find. It is a fresh salsa basically. You just dice tomatos, cilantro, onions and a small amt of jalapenos, add a touch of lemon or lime and a pinch of garlic and walah. PICO ADDICT..lol I eat it as chips and salsa, on meat, with a lot of dishes.

I can find it in the produce section at Wal mart but Safeway does not make it.
