Boat... You have a boat???
I could use one.... Who ever was suposed tp pick up the rain was delayed.
It was in the high nineties, and yet..... MORE RAIN. It is supposed to rain all week.

Someone pick up this rain. We need the usual South Texas heat just to dry out. The local river is out of its banks by over 1/3 of a mile.
There is no sign of it cresting anytime soon.

I wish it was 90 here and sunny .. but around here, you usually can't have both .. lol.

It was beautiful the 2 weeks I was in Fla and I come home to dreary skies and 80 degree temps .. if your lucky.

Right now it looks like it's going to pour out there.

It's going to be in the 80's here today. I love the summer but I don't like when it gets humid. I hate that sticky feeling. We have an air conditioner thanks to some special friends. ;)

in the 90's all week.100-105 heat index. trying to find something to do inside places.daughter doesnt like the library over to well. and i cant stand to be at my moms. in the country. no tv no nothing. and she makes us do alll the cooking and cleaning.she says shes nice enoughto supply the ac we can do everything else for her. i work and she doesnt. rather be at home with all three of us and cat and dog in front of a small fan. we have cable. i have to cook and clean i can do that home.

Have you tried freecycle in your area? Post a request maybe someone has on sitting in their garage they don't want.

Bless your heart! I don't blame you, I would stay home too before I would go cook and clean. I agree with Charley, you should post on freecycle. I have seen a couple of window units given away in my area lately. It wouldn't hurt to try.

5 here with probably close to 100% humidity..and yeah, my AC stopped working yesterday lol. I got out of the shower, and immediately was soaked again with sweat. UGH. I have to go to work looking like death, because any makeup I attempt to put on, will melt right off. I pity my patients tonight. :D
