Anyone else sick of all the rain??

Last year it was dry, hot and miserable. This year its wet, humid and miserable!

We have only had a hand full of rain free days these past few months and I just want 4 or 5 days in a row of nice weather!

Our yard floods and so far we have two sets of ducks and two cranes that have made our yard their new home

yeah really... no rain here either, it's been in the 107s here w/ plenty of sunshine. I wish I could send some of our weather your way, it's hot but at least there is no rain and it's not muggy. ;) I hear back in Iowa it's flooding bad from all the rain they are getting :(

I can't complain, I prayed too hard for it... but we are definitely getting a lot of it... the lake my county (and I think a couple others) gets water from was 17 feet below beginning of March. At this moment it is something like 4 feet over. That's how much rain we've gotten, enough to dump 21 feet of water in the lake. We are definitely out of our drought (Thank you Lord!).

we desperately need rain, I heard on the weather last night that we needed 10 inches to just catch up.

We could use a whole lot of that rain in our part of Tennessee. There seems to be a big bubble over our county. It will rain (some, not much) in the counties surrounding us, but just won't rain on us. The last we heard we are 18 inches below normal. We already have to ration water at our house. Laundry has to be done in the middle of the night so that there is enough water during the daytime to take showers and do dishes, things like that. Our well is not going to take much more lack of rain.

We sure would welcome even a portion of the rain everyone else seems to be getting.

Pray for rain for us and all the others that really need it. Remember there are alot of crops that come out of Tennessee, if we don't get the rain prices are going to go even higher. Not to mention all the Hay and Wheat fields that we've been loosing to fires lately. WE NEED RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel ya. We've already surpassed our yearly rainfall as of June 15. *sigh* We had 10 inches in one night back in May and we're still paying for it.

It's not as hot as last year but the humidity is killing me. We haven't had rain since Wednesday and while it's hot we so desperately needed a few days without it. I'm sick of water seeping into the basement.

From drought to flood, it's never a happy medium.
