Teenager Seriously Injured After Hitting A Cow

A teenager from Pentwater was seriously injured early this morning after she hit a cow while driving on Washington Road in Mason County. 19-year-old Deanna Fortich was headed west on Washington Road near Morton when a cow crossed the road into the path of her vehicle just before two o'clock this morning. Fortich was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The cow was killed.

Deanna is already back home.

That happens a lot actually. We had a bull get out and he was hit, had to slaughter right then that night. We had 2 steers get out the other day but thankfully no accidents. Have to be careful in farm country..lol
