I'm suprised no one had posted this yet, since the last time he was in the "news" for "nearly raping" that 14 yr old on stage.

I'd be pressing charges if that was me. Makes you wonder what he will be doing next?

I'd press assault charges on him in a second and also the guy that put his hands on him to bring him up on stage. And I would sue his pants off. I noticed a cop or security guard was there along with A LOT of witnesses. And how do they know he wasn't badly hurt, he should (if he hasn't already) go to the hospital and send this a-hole the bill.
This guy is going to get in some serious trouble if he don't clean up his act.

It doesn't appear to me that the guy cared. He probably enjoyed being up on stage with Akon. LOL Not that I would want that to happen to my kid or that I condone it, but really? If you have watched both of the videos (this and the "raping") and read the stories behind them, Akon isn't completely to blame here. No he shouldn't have done either, but I don't think it's as bad as the media makes it out to be.

He picked the guy up and threw him on the ground, it 'could have' killed the guy.

It sure could have, or put out an eye.

True, wasn't thinking of it from that perspective. I just think it's ridiculous what the media chooses to pick up on these days. All kinds of crazy things happen at concerts and music halls.

The media can be a pain in the butt, and cause more problems. Sometimes the media is our enemy, and sometimes our friend.

akon was wrong, but the kid did throw something at him. i agree with the other poster, the kid seemed happy to be on stage with him - when he gets pulled out he seems to pump his fist, so maybe he threw whatever it was to instigate a problem, trying to get on stage.

That happens a LOT at shows, stupid kids trying to get noticed. I got hit in the cheek once with a pipe at a show. (Not Akon tho, Aerosmith) Some kid was trying to throw it up on the stage.

On the clip with the news, there was a girl still sitting on the ground holding her head. What about her. She had no choice in the matter. I would be making a big STINK!!! Yes, I do believe it is ALL Akons fault. Hes the one who chose to THROW the kid into the crowd. He couldve had his taken out of the concert. Not violence. Hes the one who chose to do that to that girl. If the girl thing was planned, so what, she was 14. Its still his fault.

But how in the hell would he KNOW she was 14? She was in a club where you had to be 18 or older to get in, so it wasn't his fault. She had the opportunity to get off the stage too.

Im just saying if it was staged with the girl. But does it make it any better if she was 18? She was thrown all around the stage.

Ya know movies get rated "R" with a lot less sexual content than some of these concerts have. I think if an artist has songs of a highly sexual theme then they should do the same for them as the do movies. No admittance for under 17 without parent or guardian present. That would cut down a lot of this crap. :itsme:

I totally agree. Ive been to a few concerts that people took their small kids, that had NO reason being there. Hank Williams concert for one example.

On the subject of that boy being thrown off the stage, he thru something at Akon, so Akon picked him up and threw him off stage. He assulted Akon first. I didnt see n e thing about him raping a 14 y/o

So it makes it ok to do that to him, and his audience? Im not saying its ok that the guy threw something at him, but it couldve been handled ALOT better than that.
