I don't know if it was that same little girl but I saw a preview of a show that Dr. Phil was doing about a mother that was making her daughter get tanned. I can't believe she payed over $1,000 for that.

I think it's borderline child abuse. It's not right to make little girls look like full grown ups. When the little girls are teenagers the parents wonder why they act stuck up or like whores. Sorry but that's how I feel.

Yep it is so wrong. I think the stuff like they had Jon Benet doing was wrong. Most children are told how cute they are by family but having them compete and making looks as important as this mother is doing is sickening.
Air brushing models to make their 115 lb frame look like 95 is wrong too. There are 5 yr old children out there, who just from watching tv, won't eat because they want to stay small. It is sad. Add the pressure of a mom on her daughter to look perfect is just too much.

That is very wrong! .. The tanning place should not have allowed a child to go tanning. And they live in LA for pete's sake .. if you want your kid to have some "color" put some sunblock on her and take her to the beach!!!

My babies pictures look so great AFTER recess and natural. That video is so unreal.
I am raising my grandkids and they are greatful for what they have and they are very aware of skin cancer and the use of sun screen. I have talked to the girls about fake bake too and its dangers. as young as they ae they make the good choice.
