How long before "I LOVE YOU" ???

How long after initially meeting a significant other did you decide that you "loved them" AND actually went the extra step of telling them?? Asking because my new record for being told is 4 days...and i'm kinda freaking out. He's a nice guy...really really nice guy...but 4 days!!!!!! Oh my god!

I would say 3-4 months for myself. I felt it before that though but didnt want to push to fast and freak him out.

I knew within a week.... he told me first during week #2... I moved in at the end of week # 2 .... been together ever since :D

We knew (and said it) within a few days also and we lived together after a week. We have been married 10 years on July 4th and he is still my best friend.

My first thought was of the Lost In Space robot saying "Warning, Warning, Danger", but thinking about it - I married my 1st husband 19 DAYS after I had met him, so the only thing I can say is this - how do you feel about hearing that?

Within our first week of meeting each other, we both said I Love You, we married 4 months later and our working on our 18th wedding anniversary.

I don't think you can really say how much time you should wait, a person just knows when it's right.

Gosh I must be slow. After six months I would say "I am in like with you." He wanted to see if we could move towards marriage but I wasn't ready. But then he was divorced and had kids. After six months I met his kids but dated him for three years before we married.

I needed to see him in several settings and how he handled them. Guess I am not the type to jump into anything. Our 16th wedding anniversary is coming up. AND I really loved being courted and having my own space. He had to come to pick me up. LOL

It didn't take long for my boyfriend and I to fall in love, I'd say a couple of weeks. We were gonna take things slow, but I ended up never leaving his house the day we met. In fact, we just had our "first date" last night, he took me to see GODSMACK!!!!!!

well with the guy i'm seeing now, he told me with in the first couple months, but it took me months to be able to say it back, but then with my record, i have some horrible trust issues, lmao, and figured he'd be gone long before now, cause ain't no one wants to deal with them.. but 4 1/2 years later he's still here, but then we have a "unique" relationship that most people would think i'm the stupidest person on earth to put up with, lmao
