Since i was in the hospital for a week and a half and home for 2 days now with so much to do..........i sit here watching tv....game shows......ellen....regis and kelly etc and watch all the daily giveaways.........i look at the daily millions of dollars in new sweepstakes which Katt dangit keeps winning and not giving little ole me a chance.............
Number one it is boring as watching mollasses run uphill .........
Number two i sit and wonder what would happen if they put this money and effort into tornado relief, flood releif, help for the needy, etc
dropping the price of the goods on the grocery store shelves..........
I know i know its all about marketing and advertising, but every time i have down time like this i think.........maybe ill get on the Maury show and slug it out with the networks.........lol

And to top it off Tom, many of those judge shows are years old and they show the same ones over and over. There's not much to watch on daytime tv. Oh and You Are Not The Father , some of those girls are on those shows 7 and 8 times with men they are positive each time this time they have the father. It makes you realize how lucky you are to have the life you have, no matter how bad it can be at times. Luckily you just have to watch these for a short while. Some people can't find much else to entertain themselves with.
Have you tried watching Jerry Springer yet? You get to hear the gong and see people beat each other up. Happy TV watching, glad you are doing well. They say you are getting better when you start complaining. ;)

Glad you are back to gripe. I rarely watch daytime TV except for soaps in the afternoon. At night I only have a couple programs all week that I watch. I put CD's in my puter and listen to music while I'm on the puter. Try music instead of mindless TV.

Food Network,
or Sesame Street to watch! *giggles*

Food Network is great!!!!
We have all the movie channels from cable, too - those are what we watch
the most. Cable "on demand" is wonderful! We never use pay-per-view,
but love the on demand!
