PEPSI/LAYS Superbowl Rebate

When Pepsi/Lays had their Superbowl $15.00 rebate form, I KNOW the form said I would receive a $15.00 check. Today in the mail, I get $15 worth of coupons!!! I'm always up for getting coupons, but I feel like I was ripped off because they said they would send a check. did this happen to anyone else?

Did you keep a copy of the rebate form? Everytime I send in a rebate I always make a copy of the form, receipts and anything else I needed to send in.

I didn't do this particular rebate, but I'd be a little bothered if their form said one thing and they sent something different.

definitely check to see if you kept a copy and if it said check I'd be calling their hotline and complaining. I hate how rebates work these days, you end up getting coupons or stupid visa cards that are almost impossible to use.. (cingular) or don't get it at all b/c they claim you didn't do what you were suppose to even though you did. :rolleyes: makes me not want to buy anything that requires a rebate, not to mention it takes like half a damn year to get it back.

Are you sure this one said a check? I was going to do it, but I remember it saying $15 in coupons. Since I wasn't already buying everything to qualify I figured it would be a waste to buy enough to qualify to get coupons I may or may not use....

The SuperBowl was not a rebate for a check, it is for $15 worth of coupons.

There was NO Superbowl Pepsi/Lays that was for a check.

I have a copy of my form and it says "coupons".

I know this past Labor day they had a rebate where you would get a $10 check after buying 4-12 pks. I did this & it took about 2-3 months before I received it.

It was for coupons. I was not going to do it, but i'm glad i did! They sent some really good coupons:cool: the chip one i am a little confused about.
Mine stated UP to $5 off multiple bags. So is it a surprise with they scan it?:confused:

yeah, they are good coupons. Both my daughter and I sent it in and I would bet my right arm that it said check. I would hate to think that I'm going senile:(

Don't make any bets, LOL, this one was for coupons, last year was for a check.

Mine was coupons. I almost didn't do it because I thought it would be a bunch for $.50 off, but am so glad I did. These are GREAT coupons!
