DH and I own a greenhouse, so we frequently get deliveries of live plants. Today at about noon, DH takes a bag out to the trash can, and IN it sits a box full of live rose bush cuttings. It was a miracle he even saw it before he dropped the trash bag on top of it. I looked up the delivery confirmation and it said it had been delivered three hours earlier. The box was clearly marked as containing live plants and the temperature here is below freezing. The trash can is right beside the back steps, so why wouldn't they have sat it on the steps? Why didn't they knock? What were they thinking?! There is no lid on the can, so I can't even buy that they sat it on top and it fell in later. I've already filed a complaint online, just in case the plants die from exposure, but I just needed to vent. Thanks for reading.
