I was at the dr today and telling her about some things that were going on with me. She said I have all the signs and symptoms of sleep apnea, but the only way to diagnose it is with a sleep study.

Problem is that I go to a free clinic though work because I can't afford a reg doctor and they don't do sleep studies and they don't know where I can go for one that won't cost anything or be sliding scale or low cost.

Anyone know of any clinical trials or anything going on in Oklahoma for a sleep study?

Sometimes they have different medical studies advertised on TV by a medical center in the area. They pay for your time, meds, transportation. You don't get rich but you don't loose anything and get to find out for free what is wrong and how to correct it. Try looking in the phone book or Medical Research Centers. Good luck.

You might want to check out the site Tom just posted. Even tho it's for headaches you might get a general idea of where to look in your area. http://www.diamondheadache.com/

Of all things they just ran an ad while I was typing but couldn't catch all of it. It was for Piedmont Medical ?? Research ?? The question marks are for a word I missed. I'll keep tooking for it now.

Have you checked Craigslist in Oklahoma under the ETC under the "Employment" section? They often have sleep studies listed on mine...
