Its 2 below here right now - but they don't close schools here until its atleast until 15 below - but it is freakin c c c c old here too.....

Sorry to hear all of you that are freezing. We here in Houston are having a spring like week. We are having in the high 60's all week. Will be a nice change from all the cool weather. Stay warm ya'll!

I don't think they close schools here due to it being cold. I've had to take my son to the bus stop a few times because it's been -20. There's no way I'm letting him stand and wait on the bus in those temps.

OMG I feel for you guys having it so cold :( We were out Thursday and Friday because on Wednesday we had over 100 of the 360 students out sick

there is over 150 schools in my area closed today -the wind chill right now is -24 degrees - we are expecting over 8 inches until five tonight - then a foot or more of snow over night tonight - they even stopped the Amtrak trains in Syracuse because of the cold and snow - and it is windier than heck too.....

Most schools went and cancelled....minus 27 w/ the wind chill this morning. Plus 2 to 5 inches of snow coming in....... :(
