Well they say we might get it her in NY by Sunday but, the kids already have off school on Monday for Martin Luther King day so it shouldnt effect us much I hope.

those of you who are in Upstate NY (like me) - did you hear that some of the meterologists think that we might get a big "blizzard" next week - because of the jet stream and the warm lakes and the weather thats coming - they were comparing it to the blizzards of years before -
but lets hope not - lets just hope its all talk -

I know we got snow coming starting sunday and running into monday. told my boss i will be taking it slow to work on monday so i will be late and if we get hit like the last time ( 10 inches) i wont be coming in at all..he asked me what snow? dont men watch the news???

Brrrrrr...We are just getting the rain and they have already posted the flood watches through the weekend. As much as I hate cold weather, we really need it this year because the fleas and ticks are so bad. But with this being an el nino year we should stay pretty mild and probably not much chance of snow.

Was supposed to be ice here, but it has dropped to 5 degrees for a high today and tomorrow is to be 6 so too darn cold for that kind of moisture although they are predicting 3 inches of snow by sunday

I haven't really watched the weather but on line it says Sunday and Monday we are suppose to have wintry mix. Then Tuesday night it's suppose to be like 8 degrees & 5 Wenesday night! Great!

I wish we would get some snow... we have almost 2" of ice and we are about half way through the 2nd round of freezing rain.. the next one will be tomorrow. I went out to go get the mail and I didn't even make a dent in the ice on the ground.. I have a bad feeling that we'll be out of school a few days next week lol

We're iced in. Course, doesn't stop the idiots around here from getting out. We ran to Atwoods yesterday and got a small generator to run heaters off of, just in case. I'm not about to leave in this crap to go somewhere warm, like I had to a few years ago when the power was out for a week.
