3. 3 DAYS SUNSCREEN -PFA STUDY FOR MALE AND FEMALE AGE 18-60. (open for Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic) who is not on the Patch study AND have not participated in a SPF or PFA study within the past 6months, and lower back must be clear of any marks. 4VISITS- INCENTIVE $180.00. START FRIDAY 9/29. QUICK PAID!
NOTE: It's ok to participate in this study at the same time with the SKIN LIGHTENING STUDY.
Please note Visit 3 for this study will be 10hours long, starting at 7:00am. Lunch will be provided.
Each subject’s back will be examined for the presence of any abnormalities. To qualify, subject’s backs must be fairly clear of marks, moles, scars etc. Subjects also must not have a tan on their backs. (For example, someone who goes to a tanning bed regularly should not participate.) Qualified subjects will have their lower backs irradiated.
Dates, Times and Length of Study Visits
Visit 1: Fri. 9/29/06– 9:00 am to 11:30am (30 Minute Visit)
Visit 2: Fri. 9/29/06 – Approximately 2-3 hours after Visi1. (15 Minute Visit)
Visit 3: Group 1: Mon. 10/02/06 – 7:00am (10 hour visit)
Group 2: Tues. 10/03/06 –7:00am (10 hour visit)
Group 3: Wed. 10/04/06 –7:00am (10 hour visit)
Group 4: Thurs. 10/05/06 –7:00am (10 hour visit)
Visit 4: Approximately 24 hours after V3. PAID DAY!
QUALIFICATION: ****Please read over carefully*******
This study is for Male and Female age 18-60 (Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic) -Shoud not have any of the following:
1. Sunburn, suntan, scars, uneven skin tone/pigmentation, nevi or other dermal(skin) conditions on the back that might interfere with the evaluation made in this study.
2. Coughing spasms or any other condition that would prohibit you from sitting still for an extended period of time.
3. Currently have a tanned back.
4. Currently going to a tanning bed. (Subjects can not tan their backs during the study.)
5. Uncontrolled Hypertension (high blood pressure)
6. Currently participating in a back patch study, or any other study that involves the back?
7. Participated in a SPF or PFA study within the past 6 months.
8. Known sensitivities to sunscreens.
9. BACK IS NOT clear of marks, moles, scars etc.
