2) WE NEED MOTHERS WITH A CHILD 6 YEARS OF AGE FOR THE CHILD TO PARTICIPATE IN A 30 MINUTE TASTE TEST ON JULY 13th, DIFFERENT TIMES AVAILABLE. YOUR CHILD WILL BE PAID $35.00 FOR PARTICIPATING.

3) Wanted: Smokers or ex-smokers, 21 or older, and their parents are needed for a nationwide study being conducted by the University of Michigan.
Participation involves blood samples and surveys. No travel required! Both biological parents must participate. Participants must live in the cont'l US. Study pays $100/person. Interested? Call 1-800-742-2300 ext.6311 or e-mail [email protected]

4) Adults ages 20–85 needed to participate in research studies on adult development. Volunteers will be paid. Studies are conducted on Georgia Tech's campus in Midtown or at our Marietta facility off Powers Ferry Rd.

The Georgia Tech Adult Development Lab needs participants for research studies about how people think, explain, and reason about social situations and emotions. You may be qualified to participate if you meet the following requirements and are determined to be eligible:

• American Males and Females
• English proficiency – spoken and written
• Aged 20-85
You will be paid approximately $10 per hour for participating in our studies if you qualify. Most studies last 1-4 hours. Our funding comes from the National Institute on Aging. If you are interested in learning more, please call our lab during business hours at (404) 385-0841.

5) RTI International, a non-profit research organization with offices in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and Atlanta, GA, needs middle and high school students to help us to test a questionnaire asking about tobacco use and attitudes toward tobacco use. If selected, participants will be given a $40 gift certificate to a music or book store for a one-hour interview in our private offices on July 12-14. We are looking for people who are:
a) Currently enrolled in middle (grades 6–8) or high schools (grades 9–12)
b) Smokers, former smokers, and non-smokers
