I answered with the choice about poisonous from the milkweed and that was apparently wrong. However, I sent a message to them as the Wikipedia information says "Monarchs are foul-tasting and poisonous due to the presence of cardenolides in their bodies, which the caterpillars ingest as they feed on milkweed."

I think that is the right answer too. I send CR a long email with a string of webistes that say it's the milkweed :)
