Although I am a Christian, its my first encounter with how strong saten really is. Will make this short as possible.
My husband is in Jackson Ga( DC).
First offense and will probably be home soon.
Anyway a close friend of mine sent a cd to listen to...But she wanted it right back (she plays it daily). She said she was going to send it earlier but would forget. After listening I immediately order it via net. Now I play it daily.
Felt like Christ wanted me to share with others. My cousin ,who loves Christ and would do anything she could for anyone, was my first contact. This was sunday.".yes send it ,not doing anything but resting.".(her brother was also there and wanted to hear it) My son dropped it off on the way to take his kids swimming....Three hours later I sent him to get it. Next day asked her how she liked it..She did'nt get a chance because she was working in her garden. As brother, his answer was my son picked it up before he got the chance (3 hours)
This is the real mystery..Contacted the ministry divison at Jackson.No no inmate can receive. Told him I knew this but felt like it would help most of the inmates. No way of playing was available..Told him my feelings from Christ was so strong that I would not only send the tape but donate a cd player. This could be used during Prayer and sunday services. Would send directly to the minister not the prison. "wait a minute will be right back" Sorry but but they said it was against the rules...Is it just me or does someone else see the devils involvement !.Told him I was'nt giving up ,no matter how long or who I had to contact even to the White House. He said he knew I would :).He asked " what the title was, he wanted to buy it for his own use.

In most jails/prisons they have a policy on what is allowed or is NOT allowed. I don't see what Satan has to do with it though. :confused:

sdb_ngc...The mystery wasn't about the inmates not allowed to receive cds/players..But that the volunteer ministers could'nt use their own to play gospel music during prayer/or regular service..They also stated that they did'nt have the resource or set up etc for this.FRIENDS ALL THAT'S NEEDED IS ONE OUTLET!

Prisons have very strict policies involving this type of stuff. My MIL does ministry for the prisons around here. (she puts them before family actually, but I won't go into the whole sordid details about the church's influence on her regarding convicts)

Anyway, there is a laundry list of things they have to do, can't do etc, or their charter will be revoked. I think it's more policy than it is satan. For example, if someone brings a cd player in, other than a specified correctional facility employee (and even then, mess up's happen) there can be things smuggled in, in the player etc. My SIL is a correctional officer, and the people that do this stuff would shock you with the how's and why's etc (minister or not).

Perhaps if you made a donation, with the specific instructions that a new cd player is to be bought with it? Maybe they can do it that way.

Catch Up...Husband will be home this month. Happy, if he has really changed. Will this stop my campaign noooooooooooooooooooooo...Why, because many others need to hear this message and for another reason. After offering to donate money to purchase player and cd..
Answer was no this isn't permitted ! I should have added this earlier to my message..I am on disability, fixed income is rough. But because my trust in Christ ....I knew he would make away . Before offering of money,'I won a new Boss multi player via contest on net. All glory to Christ !.Saten still did'nt give up (can't accept rule).. I will continue the mission, save the Boss and sale when the donation is finally accepted. Saten is strong but Christ is stronger. I know there are still unbelivers out there.But before it's over I promise you will believe !

Catch UP? How about telling this tale in a way that can be understood.

After reading this post several times, all I can understand is that you want to do something that could jeopardize a program that helps prisoners with their walk with Christ, because of a cd/tape that you listened to and feel you should share. I am sure a transcript of the cd/tape will get the message out to the prisoners. I would like to understand what you are saying.

The devil's involvement is the fact that the donation of a cd and cd player are being "blocked". In other words, the OP feels like satan is blocking the spread of God's Word. Of course, you will say that satan has nothing to do with it, it is a rule made by man, but, some would see this rule as something that is part of satan's control over man.

I am not even sure if that makes since, lol. I agree that the post of the OP are a bit confusing, but, I did get the point. She is just a rambler and not the only one "guilty" of that.

I'm confused...maybe I don't have enough information but if it is agianst the Prisions rules, well then it is against the rules...not satin invlolved....I believe in Satan and believe he is as strong as God...... but I don't think he has control over Prioson rules......

It is not Satan that is the problem, it is the power cord for the cd player that can be used to strangle or hang someone. Prisons/Jails have rules for reasons. Just because you are too close minded to see the real reason for them not accepting your donation does not mean it is the work of Satan - it is the work of people that use very good judgement in order to keep themselves and other inmates safe.

If you really think this message is so important - type it up and fax/mail/e-mail the transcript of the song (after you get permission from the artist/writer of the song - we don't need you in jail for copywrite infringement) to the minister at the jail/prison.
