You mention that you like something, and you have a store hold it for you, and someone goes in and tells them that you sent them in to pick it up, so they buy it and then they give it to someone else? That just ticks me off.

My step mother did that to me while she was down visiting. We went to a store that is closing, and since we both have always shopped there, they were holding these 3 picture frames for me until DH got paid. My step mpm, went and bought these pictures frames, and GAVE THEM TO MY SISTER!!!!!

What a B***H!!!!!

Ok, I feel better now!

Tell the store you never asked her to pick them up and see if they'll give you a deal on something else.

I don't want to say anything to my sister, she will feel bad, and it has nothing to do with her. The Step mom was with me when I asked the store to hold them for me. I'm not upset with the store...I'm PI$$ED at the step mpm....she has always done things to tick me off...I think that she gets off to it. She likes to stir up crap!

i think i would not tell my sis because she might feel special that she got this for her, but be sure to say when you goto sis's house you know i really like those frames i thought i had some on hold just like that and then maybe your mum will then realize in her old age that it was really you the one she went shopping with---who knows maybe she forgot or is getting senial??? i cant see someone deliberatly doing that maybe she thought it was her she went shopping with? mistakes do happen. like on christmas morning and i give the wrong present to the wrong kid--woops. anyhow take care it will work out:)

I have never had anything like that happen... probably b/c I never shop w/ ppl like that nor have I ever had anything on hold that I wasn't going to stop in the store and pay for it w/in the next hour... sorry that happened to you, I'd definitely mention something to the stepmom, that was totally wrong on her part.. WTF was she thinking?

Ha, that happened to me once. I was in Shreveport, LA at Bath and Body Works and they had a sale. My sister and I had a lot of items but we couldn't carry everything, so we gave it to a salesgirl and she put it behind the counter while we continued to shop. When we finished shopping, we took the rest of the stuff we had to the counter and asked the girl at the register to get the rest of our items so that we could pay for it. She looked confused and said, "what items?" Turns out, a couple of girls who were also in the store wanted our stuff and took the opportunity to lie and tell her that the other salesgirl (who left to go to lunch after she put our stuff behind the counter) set aside their items (which were really mine) and they were ready to pay for them. I was so upset because they were the last ones in the store. The other salesgirl didn't let the cashier know who the items really belonged to before she went to lunch. I was incensed!!! I had a lot of really bad thoughts that day, but I got over it eventually, lol. I said that I would never let a salesperson put my stuff behind the register ever again. I'll hang onto it and that way it won't get taken again.
