I am just enfuriated with Logan's! My fiance and I went to eat there Sunday, and not only was the service slow, but guess what? We spent over $40, which is common for a good meal, BUT, when I checked my credit card statement, we were charged 3 TIMES!!!!! OH it gets even better, the waitress was a smart butt, and did I forget slow? WELL, we DID still leave her a $10.00 tip, but guess what else? She must have thought it was not enough, she ADDED another $6.00 charge for herself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

We did manage to get the extra $40 dollar charges back, BUT NOT the extra tip or our dinners! The manager even sided with the waitress for that one even though we had the approval code, he said "she has been with us for 6 years, I am sorry you went through this and I am sure she will not do it again!" SO say the least, she is still there and not even in trouble!!!!!!!! I just hope she does not do this to someone else!

I would not allow her to get away with keeping the $6...I would file a fraud report with your credit card, especially if you have your receipt. I would also file a police report, and call Logan's corporate office to let them know what is going on and how you are going to handle it. That is such BS.

If I go out to eat and get poor service, I don't leave a tip. Sorry I know wait staff are not paid well...but I go out to be served. I expect good service and my glass not to get empty. I leave really good tips for good service. But poor service gets nothing. Its costs way too much to eat out...to get lousy service!

I'd definately dispute it.

I only use cash when going to places that automatically take out for tips... A tip is something that is earned, not expected. I've gone round and round w/ spaghetti warehouse because they expect me to pay for crappy service and I won't do it. Last time I went there they threatened to call the police becuase I wouldn't pay my bill in full (they wanted $12 for a tip and I only left $2 on the table because the waiter was a moron.. he was lucky to get that) I told them to call the police... they never did LOL

I used to be a waitress, and I love good wait service when "we" go out to eat. We went out to eat at Delmonicos last week for our annaversary and my birthday, and the waitress we had was so great, that Sweetie left her a $10.00 tip. When and if I get bad service, I just leave them a dollar or two, cause they waited on me. I hope everything turns out ok.

How many people were dining with you? If it's a party of 6 or more, I know most restaurants now automatically add the tip onto your total so they don't get stiffed. I know it bites, especially if you receive poor service, but that's the way they work. Really sorry to hear that happened to you. I would contact corporate and see what they have to say about it. Last time I did that with Applebee's, I had the manager show up where I work with a poinsettia and 4 free dinner entrees.

We actually DID get the police called on us for refusing to pay the 15% forced gratuity at a restaurant here in Houston. The waiter was rude, slow, and he kept TOUCHING everyone. They had served us skunky tea, and tried to tell us it was flavored and supposed to taste like that. One of our party said their food was excellent, and the waiter said, "Yeah, I can tell, you really polished that plate". We called the manager of the OTHER location of the restaurant (I can't remember the name right now) since we were getting nowhere with the manager of the one where we were eating and oh, boy did the crap hit the fan then! We ended up getting comped for the whole meal, getting a free meal at the other location, and everyone in the party got a $25 gift certificate on top of it. Atthe free meal the manager who called the cops had to serve us, he was no longer a manager.

I remembered the name--it was Birraporettis (sp?)
