can anyone help me set up my tracfone voicemail? the prompt says enter temperary password. where do i find that? do i make one up? using up minutes trying to get this thing to work. any help is appreciated. thanks

I think the generic password is 1985 or 1986

You can also check your voicemail from your home phone. That way it saves your minutes. ;)

Could it be the last four digits of the phone number? That's how it worked for my voicemail on my phone.

The temp one is usually *123 or *321 might be 4 digits. I can't remember when I sat mine up, but it was one of those.

When I set one up for my grandson, I used 1111, and it worked. Then he changed it to what he wanted.

the one that I had for mine tracfone (2 years ago) when I got it was 9999#
For some reason that seems to be the standard with most phones. at least with the ones that I have had.
I just got a Centennial plan and I had no clue what my password was for my voice so I just guessed the 9999# and it worked, of course I changed it, but it is worth a try.
