he left today for navy bootcamp...i miss him already and its only been hours....i am worried of course and fighting depression over this..i am proud of him and all that but hey he's the (MY) baby....

thanks budlite...he was supposed to be allowed one phone call to let us know he arrived ok....his flight was to land at 6:15pm and its now going on 11:10pm est and no call:(

When Jordan went to Marine boot camp,it took 2 1/2 days for a 3 second call that I was supposed to get when he arrived.So hang in there :)

Ok...My husband and his brother were in the navy.....
It will be ok..it isnt as bad as it sounds UNLESSS...he says fu*k to his superior officer!! then its PT (physical training) till he cant take anymore then they do it again.


Really, he will be fine.....my husband learned much from his 8 years and his brother from his 4. What is he going in to?
my hubby and his brother went on submarines, fast attacks to be exact.....
there will be a period of time liek 6 months or so when you dont ear from them!!!

its ok.....

yeah i know daisy..thanks!! I was in the Marines and his dad in Navy. He is going into Nuclear Submarine Engineering.


and nope no call yet..which is actually good news ..right?:) least I know he made it!

I went into the navy at 33 (female), he will be okay. We didn't get to make calls for a few days.

wow, I had no idea you were in the Marines.My son told me what the male Marines call female Marines (recruits) ROFL

My son comes home Dec 16,then to Ca,then Feb to Iraq. *sigh
