Just wondering how other feel about this. There is someone on e-bay selling tickets to a concert that is a free concert. It is necessary to have a ticket to get in but the tickets are free. It's a religious thing and I guess that's what's got me so upset about it. Making money off of the Lord. Maybe he's planning to donate the $$ to charity. Hardly!

What do you say?

Somethiing is only worth what someone is willing to pay. If he had tickets and wants to sell them so what. If he got those tickets by being greedy then his day will come. What goes around comes around.

thats why ebay is such a big deal, there is always someone willing to buy ANYTHING. I know there was a free religious play at a big church in okc WAY BACK WHEN, i managed to get tickets for me and my BF at the time, but i would have definitely been willing to pay for some.

like hblueeyes said, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

i think it sucks that people do things like that, especially if it was given to them by someone else. (RAOK). But unfortunatly, nothing can be done about it as long as someone else is willing to pay for it.

I'd like to sell a kidney or a chunk of my liver. B Neg. Why should the hospitals and doctors be the only ones who profit from MY BODY!

If something has value and you own it...then you should be able to sell it. People sell things on Ebay all the time that they got for free (i.e., it was a gift). Should it matter that it was free?

For example...I work for Disney and twice a year we are sent free passes to the parks. Well...because I'm a salaried employee I also have what is called a "Silver Pass". This allows me to get into the parks pretty much any time for free. And I can take three guests with me and they're entrance is also free.

So, when I get these free passes twice a year, I don't need them for me or my family because I already have a Silver Pass. (They are worth about $70 each as they are park-hopper passes.) I sometimes give them as gifts. Sometimes I save them for when we have out of town company and my Silver Pass won't cover all who want to go.

Would it be wrong of me to sell them on Ebay just because I got them for free? Frankly, I don't think so.

Well if the concert is free and the tickests are free then who ever pays for them will fell dumb pay money for a free event.
